HELP US PROTECT WHAT’S IMPORTANT!
Friends is a small non-profit organization with no paid staff. In addition to this effort, we help maintain and protect the Edgewood Preserve, we host bird walks, hikes and educational field trips, we work with local youth, including Boy and Girl Scout troops to encourage stewardship of this and other public lands, we publish a quarterly newsletter and much more. We do all this with just a volunteer board of directors of five people and a loyal cadre of field volunteers. The money you donate goes directly to protecting what’s important – our opens spaces, our water, our air and the well being of our children – our future. We cannot survive without any of these things. We must protect all of them.
Please help save the Edgewood Preserve and Pilgrim Parcel from reckless development.

• Send a general donation – Help us to continue the work we do every day – paper, postage and office supplies are expensive (grants rarely cover operating costs). • Send a donation for our legal fund – We are in the process of seeking legal representation in order to stop the state from building any intermodal on this land. Indicate “legal” on the notes section of your check. Donate via Paypal or by check or money order. SEE BELOW.
• Spread the word – Host a “Stop the Intermodal” party (a Friends rep will come to speak about the preserve, the work we do and how you can help).
